SLO County Citizens’ Climate Education (CCE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We are a nonpartisan grassroots educational and advocacy group
comprised entirely of volunteer citizens. We educate SLO County residents
about the climate emergency and how they can help
reduce carbon emissions to preserve a livable planet.

We focus on finding solutions to rising carbon emissions that are causing climate chaos. We educate the public and support legislation that will result in positive change.
Nonpartisanship
Our approach is thoughtful and thorough. We are prepared — we consult experts, use data, and solicit feedback before forming opinions or making decisions. People know they can count on us to be consistent and do what we say we will do.
Relationships
We take the most generous approach to others as possible — appreciation, gratitude and respect. We listen and work to find common ground.
